# Bridge Theatre Touch Tours
## Information about touch tours for blind and visually impaired visitors attending audio described performances at The Bridge Theatre.
Audio-described performances are available for each main production run, and are accompanied by a touch tour for blind and visually impaired visitors.
Touch toursprovide an opportunity to explore elements of a production before the performance. Participants are guided into the auditorium, where members of the theatre team provide information about the set, costumes, lighting and overall staging of the show.
Touch tours typically take place before the venue opens to the general public and last approximately 30 minutes. After the tour, visitors are welcome to return to the foyer before the performance begins.
Visitors wishing to attend a touch tour are encouraged to advise the theatre when booking their tickets. Companions are welcome to attend.
Visitors attending independently can request assistance from a member of staff. Guide dogs may also be permitted on set during the tour, subject to an advance assessment to ensure a safe environment. Alternatively, arrangements may be made for a guide dog to be looked after.
