Does the venue have lift access?

Not all of our venues have lift access, or some may have lift access to particular areas only.

Wyvern Theatre

Beck Theatre

The Beck Theatre does not have a lift. 

Rows A-D are step-free access. All other rows have two steps per row.

Churchill Theatre

There is a lift at Stage Door which can take customers between the Stalls and Circle/Box Office.
Customers requiring lift access will need to be escorted by a member of staff.
The lift is situated on the left-hand side so the Stalls access from the lift will be the higher numbered seats.

There is step free access from the foyer to the back row of the circle.

The Lounge - The Lounge does not have step free access and can only be accessed by a flight of ten steps if entering via Stage Door. Access from the main entrance involves a higher number of steps to climb.

The Studio - The studio is one floor down, directly below the main foyer. There is no lift access to the studio. There is step free access via a short walk through the park. A member of staff will need to escort customers requiring this access.

Cliffs Pavilion

Lift access is available to all levels of the building, including the restaurant. However, only the stalls, row S of the rear stalls and the boxes have step free access to the seats. The rear stalls and balcony seating are all tiered and each row higher has an additional step to climb.

Lyceum Theatre, Crewe

Lift access is available to all floors of the theatre.

Should step free access to the studio be required please speak to a member of staff upon arrival who will be able to escort you.

G Live

Lift access is available to all areas of the theatre.

Rows A-J in the stall are step free access.

New Theatre, Cardiff

There is a lift to all levels which is accessed via the auditorium. A staff member will escort you on request (although please check before booking if you have access needs as there are still steps to most seats when you exit the lift).

Orchard Theatre

The Orchard Theatre does not have any lifts within the venue. All seating within the venue is tiered and requires stairs to be climbed to access them. The only step free rows are row G in the stalls and the wheelchair spaces in rows CC & DD.

Palace Theatre

There is no lift for the Palace Theatre main house. The stalls are step-free access, from the entrance of the building, however both the circle (39 steps) and the gallery (65 steps) are access by stairs only.

Dixon Studio - There is a lift from the main foyer up to the Dixon studio. Please speak to a member of staff for assistance.

Swindon Arts Centre

 There is a small passenger lift to level 1 to enter the auditorium. 

All Ground Floor spaces (bars, box-office & toilets) are fully accessible.

Wycombe Swan

There is lift access to all levels of the theatre in the Wycombe Swan, the Old Town Hall and the Oak Room.

However, please note that seating in the main auditorium of the Wycombe Swan is all tiered seating. The only step free seating is as follows:

* Stall AA-B 

*Stalls L & M

* Side Circle M

* Side Upper Circle E

Wyvern Theatre

Customers requiring step free access for the main auditorium should use the accessible entrance on Regent Place. Please note that only rows AA-D in the stalls are step free access. There is no lift access to the main auditorium seating. 

Studio One - there is a customer lift in the upper foyer for access to Studio One.
