# Why does my event have an age restriction?

## Having an age restriction ensures that your event is tailored to a specific age group, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Individuals who wish to attend an age restricted event must meet or exceed the specified age requirement.

If your event has an age guidance, this is a recommendation rather than a restriction and relies upon parental/guardian discretion.

It is important for potential attendees to carefully review any advertised age restriction/guidance before purchasing tickets or planning to attend the event.
